: I'm curious what brand and model of heads other people use on their Trixon Telstar sets. I recently purchased a red croco three-piece set (bass drum and two toms). The heads on it are very old and flat-sounding. Before I replace them I want to know whether the conical design sounds better with a certain type of head. So what do others use? Coated or uncoated? Remo or Evans? Thanks.
